Noll Leads DePauw to Fifth-Place Finish at Loyola Lakefront Invitational

Chicago, Ill. - Led by Jenny Noll's eighth-place finish, DePauw totaled 189 points and finished fifth in the gold division of the Loyola Lakefront Invitational. Marquette won the team competition with 44 points.

Noll covered the 5,000 meters in 19:13.70 to lead the Tigers, while Riley Hickman was 13th (19:28.23), Natalie Gruszka 43rd (20:01.75) and Haley Thompson 69th (20;26.69).

Rounding out the Tigers' top seven were Rachel DeLancey (20:29.96), Madison Bahr (20:47.74) and Nana Norimoto (20:59.73).

"This was another good step for the women," DePauw head coach Kori Stoffregen said.

"A fifth-place finish is good for our confidence. We're looking forward to Louisville next weekend."

DePauw competes in the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday, October 5.
