DePauw Finishes 16th Overall and Second Among Division III Schools at John McNichols Invitational

Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw was second among Division III schools and 16th overall at Indiana State's John McNichols Invitational at the Lavern Gibson Course.

Arkansas, the fifth-ranked NCAA Division I school, won with 49 points and Taylor Werner of Arkansas was the individual winner in 16:24.

Jenny Noll paced the Tigers by finishing in 71st place in 19:23, while Riley Hickman crossed in 20:15 followed by Natalie Gruszka in 20:23 and Kate Hennessey in 21:00. Rounding out the Tigers' top seven were Haley Thompson (21:02), Reagan Hoggatt (21:08) and Rachel DeLancey (21:21).

"Our women had a goal to run faster times than last year and we did that," DePauw head coach Kori Stoffregen said.

"Each meet we are gaining confidence. Congrats to Jenny (Noll) being the top D3 runner in the race."

DePauw returns to action in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago on Saturday, September 28.
