DePauw Finishes Fourth at NCAC Championships; Noll Named Newcomer of the Year

Powell, Ohio - Led by Jenny Noll's seventh-place finish, DePauw finished fourth at the 2018 North Coast Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships. DePauw totaled 128 points, while Oberlin won with 33, Allegheny was second with 34 and Kenyon third at 115.

Noll covered the 6,000 meters in 23:09.2 to earn first team all-NCAC honors as well as being named the women's Newcomer of the Year.

Riley Hickman earned honorable mention all-NCAC after placing 18th in 23:52.9.

Lannea Allen was 33rd (24:20.5) followed by Kate Hennessey in 40th (24:32.4), Gabby Coffing in 41st (24:33.5), Haley Thompson in 42nd (24:34.4) and Nanako Norimoto in 55th (25:01.4).

Allegheny's Emily Forner topped the individuals in 21:38.9.

"I was very pleased with the fourth-place finish," DePauw head coach Kori Stoffregen said.

"We've had some injuries and illness this season that has had an impact on our depth. We needed people to step up and got great races from Jenny and Riley. We will be healthier at regionals in two weeks."

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, November 10, at the NCAA Regional Championships hosted by Franklin College.
