West Lafayette, Ind. - Led by a pair of top-eight finishes, DePauw totaled 62 points and won its second consecutive Little State title by a 30-point margin over runner-up Indianapolis.
Meghan Hennessey led DePauw with a fourth-place showing in 24:18.4, while Natalie Gruszka was eighth in 25:14.5. Haley Thompson turned in a 12th-place finish (25:38.9) followed by Gabby Coffing in 17th (25:50.3), Tori Flowers in 21st (25:59.4), Pia Ocvirk in 25th (26:21.5) and Riley Hickman in 35th (26:46.6).
Anais Da Silva of Vincennes was the top individual in 23:13.0.
"We ran a great race in defending our little state title from last year," DePauw head coach Kori Stoffregen said.
"They ran in groups and really supported each other. I'm looking forward to their next race."
The Tigers will host the alumni meet on Saturday, September 23, before returning to action on September 30 at the Greater Louisville Classic.
