Stearley Named to AVCA All-America Third Team

Greencastle, Ind.- DePauw University volleyball player Morgan Stearley has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 39th annual Division III All-America Third-team.

Stearley is one of 42 NCAA Division III players to be selected for the AVCA All-America team and one of three representating the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). The award will be presented on Nov. 20 at the NCAA Division III WOmen's National Championship banquet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

She joins 2000 graduate Janie Hodgkinson (2nd team) and 2018 graduate Suzanne Peters (3rd team) as DePauw's All-America Selection members. Finishing the season with 410 kills bringing her career total to 1330, and 3.87 kills per set average, Stearley played some of her best volleyball this season.

Stearley's season accolades include earning NCAC Athlete of the Week twice, being named NCAC Player of the Year, selected for the Academic All-District team by CoSida and being selected for the 2019 AVCA Division III All-Great Lakes Region Team.
