Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw collected its fourth win in the last five matches after topping Rose-Hulman 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-14) in Neal Fieldhouse. The Tigers moved to 6-7 on the season, while the Engineers dropped to 9-6.
Morgan Stearley led the Tigers' attack with 17 kills and a .378 hitting percentage, while Liv Hartman and Suzanne Peters chipped in 11 and 10 kills, respectively. The Tigers outhit Rose-Hulman .296-.100 and held a 49-22 edge in kills.
Grace Filbrun assisted on 36 of those kills, while Jenna Purichia was one of four Tigers with double-figure kill totals as she led with 18. Kaylee Nichols and Filbrun each added 13 and Stearley finished with 10.
DePauw opens North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday, September 22, with a 1 p.m. match at Denison.
