Greencastle, Ind. - Five DePauw student-athletes earned all-North Coast Athletic Conference volleyball honors including two on the first team in voting by the league's head coaches. The complete release is available here.
Peters ranks second in the conference with 3.6 kills per set and third on the team with 2.91 digs per set which also is 18th in the conference. Stearley is fifth in the NCAC with 3.23 kills per set and ninth with a .252 hitting percentage. She also ranks in the top 20 in blocks (0.58/set) and digs (2.89/set).
Middle hitter Haley Bitzer (Sr., Wassenaar, The Netherlands/American School of the Hague) and setter Keegan Kollias (Sr., Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville) earned spots on the second team. Bitzer is the NCAC's top blocker with 1.11 per set and she's seventh with a .261 hitting percentage. Kollias leads the league with 10.91 assists per set and was a second team selection last year.
Sophomore outside/middle hitter Liv Hartman (So., Danville, Ind./Danville) rounded out DePauw's selections as an honorable mention choice. Hartman is fourth in the NCAC in kills (3.45/set) and 15th in hitting percentage (.231).
The Tigers begin NCAC Tournament play at Wittenberg this morning with an 11 a.m. semifinal match against Ohio Wesleyan.
