DePauw Competes at Pair of Meets

Granville, Ohio - A pair of first-place finishes were the highlight of DePauw's competition at the Big Red Invitational.

Natalie Gruszka won the 1,500 meters (5:00.56), while Hannah Adams topped the field in the javelin throw (29.21m/95-10).

Riley Hickman was second in the 3,000 meters (11:17.44) with Andrea Nunez-Garcia placing fourth (11:40.37).

Gabby Coffing turned in a third-place showing in the 1,500 meters (5:08.90) as did Emily Wilson in the high jump (1.55m/5-1).

Fifth-place finishes came from Cami Etgen in the 400 meters (1:03.27) and Mackenzie Jones in the 400 hurdles (1:18.37).

A couple of Tigers competed on Thursday in the Hillsdale College Gina Relays and were paced by Tori Flowers with a seventh in the steeplechase (11:59.45).

DePauw returns to action on May 4-5 at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Allegheny.
