Monnett's 3K Win Leads Tigers to Sixth-Place Finish at Rose-Hulman

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw totaled 39.5 points and finished sixth at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational. St. Norbert won with 155 points, while Rose-Hulman was second with 141.

The Tigers totaled 20 points in the 3,000-meter run as Claudia Monnett won in 10:43.56. Haley Thompson was third in 11:09.97 and Lois Miller placed fifth in 11:27.33.

Amanda Weber was third in the 60 meters in 8.43 seconds, while Elena Ponder tied for fifth in the high jump at 1.42 meters/4-7.5.

Two Tigers scored in the mile run paced by Tori Flowers in fifth in 5:52.39 and Kira Singer in eighth in 5:56.23.

DePauw's 4x200 relay was fourth in 1:56.78.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, February 3, when they host the Tiger Small College Invitational.
