Five, Including Four First Timers, Earn All-NCAC Honors

Five members of the DePauw women's tennis team recently earned All-NCAC accolades.

Junior Megan Galle (Columbus, Ind./Columbus East) and junior Colleen Morris (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) were named second team on the singles side. Galle went 10-11 across the 2-6 flights, while Morris finished 5-16 between the 1-3 flights.

Sophomore Meredith Breda (Cincinnati, Ohio/Indian Hill) went 13-12 across the 2-5 flights to earn a honorable mention.

On the doubles side, Galle and junior Sarah Wilder (Batesville, Ind./Oldenburg Academy) claimed a first team selection after a 10-10 season across the 1-2 flights. Breda and freshman Amanda Showalter (Centerville, Ohio/Archbishop Alter) were named an honorable mention after compiling a 7-2 record between the 2-3 flights.

Breda was a 2017 honorable mention in the doubles category. The other four women make All-NCAC for the first time.

The women finished 8-14 overall and 2-1 in the NCAC. They finished fourth in the NCAC Tournament.
