Shea Davisson was named the DePauw head women's swimming and diving coach and aquatics director in August 2016.

Most recently, Davisson served as Olivet College’s head men's and women's swimming and diving coach since June 2014. Along with her coaching duties at Olivet, she instructed a semester-long motor learning and control course as well as lifeguard training courses.

Prior to that, she was assistant men's and women's swimming coach at Southwestern (Texas) University for three years.

A 2008 graduate of The College of Wooster, Davisson earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She was a four-year varsity letter winner for the Fighting Scots. Upon graduation, Davisson was the assistant swimming coach at Moon Valley Aquatic club in Phoenix, Ariz.

The West Lafayette, Ind., native then earned a Master of Science degree in kinesiology with a focus in sports psychology and motor behavior from the University of Tennessee where she also served as a graduate assistant in the Thornton Athletics Student Life Center.

Davisson is also a member of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
