With one day remaining, the Tigers are in third place with 782 points. Denison leads with 1,433 points and Kenyon is second with 1,213. Wooster is in fourth with 660.5.
Newlon turned in a "B" cut time of 4:26.27 to capture her first NCAC title in the event after placing second twice and third once.
A pair of Tigers competed in the 100 breaststroke championship final as Woods placed seventh in 1:07.66 and Jamie Fritsch was ninth in 1:09.44.
Graves tuned in a six-place performance in the 100 backstroke in 58.94.
