Greencastle, Ind. - Kristina Corona, DePauw women's soccer head coach, has resigned to accept a position as the 15U-19U Girls South Director of Coaching for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club.

Corona, who took over the DePauw program in January of 2018, led the Tigers to a 4-11-1 record in her lone season with the Tigers with seven of the defeats coming by one goal each including all five in North Coast Athletic Conference play.

Assistant coach Kayla Grimsley is also resigning to take a position as the 9U-13U Girls North Director of Coaching for the same club.

"We're sad to see Kristina and Kayla leave after making such a positive impact on the team and department in their time here, but these are incredible opportunities for them" said Stevie Baker-Watson, DePauw Associate Vice President for Campus Wellness and Theodore Katula Director of Athletics.

"We're committed to supporting our student-athletes through a national search for our next head coach," Baker-Watson added.
