Greencastle, Ind. - Illinois Wesleyan finished the first half with nine straight goals and started the second with five consecutive on the way to a 19-5 win over DePauw in the Tigers' home opener. DePauw dropped to 0-2, while the Titans improved to 3-0.
Emma Kennedy paced the Tigers with three goals and Sophie added two assists.
Bridget O'Malley and Riley Rooney scored four goals each for Illinois Wesleyan with Grainne Kelly adding two Landry Elliott assisted on three scores.
DePauw's Kathryn Hopkins recorded four saves with Sydney MacDonald totaling one for the Titans.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, March 2, with a Noon game at Mount Union.
