Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's women's lacrosse program and members of its team have been recognized for academic success by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
The Tigers were among 339 NCAA and NAIA colleges and universities including 165 NCAA Division III institutions named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad list for maintaining at least a 3.0 team grade point average for the 2017-18 academic year.
DePauw rising seniors Olivia Miller (Carmel, Ind./Brebeuf Jesuit) and Erica Rapelje (Columbus, Ohio/Gahanna Lincoln) were among the 639 student-athletes from 189 different institutions earning spots on the 2018 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Miller is a double major in Spanish and global health, while Rapelje is an interdisciplinary major.
