Gambier, Ohio - Kenyon jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first 17 minutes and held on for a 21-5 North Coast Athletic Conference win over DePauw. The Tigers finished their season at 2-14 overall and 1-7 in the NCAC, while Kenyon concluded its campaign at 11-5 overall and 5-3 in the NCAC.
Maddi Stern led the Tigers with two goals, while Avery Morgan paced Kenyon with six and Cassie Hudson-Heck added five.
Kenyon outshot DePauw 39-11 including 30-9 on goal. DePauw's Kathryn Hopkins totaled nine saves, while Allie Dumas of Kenyon stopped four DePauw shots.
The Ladies held a 21-6 edge in draw controls and 19-17 in ground balls. The Tigers were just 7 of 24 on clears to Kenyon's 11 of 13 with DePauw totaling 30 turnovers to Kenyon's 18.
Rachel Allen and Caleigh Ranjo each had two draw controls for the Tigers with Maggie Grabowski pacing Kenyon with 16. Hopkins had a team-high three ground balls for DePauw with Caitlin Augerson finishing with five for Kenyon.
