Greencastle, Ind. - League-leading Denison stayed unbeaten in North Coast Athletic Conference play after blanking DePauw, 23-0, in the Tigers' home finale at Reavis Stadium. DePauw dropped to 2-13 overall and 1-6 in the NCAC, while the Big Red improved to 13-2 overall and 7-0 in the conference.
Denison scored three times in the opening three minutes and took a 13-0 advantage into halftime on the way to the victory.
Claudia Rafi, Kiely Noonan and Liza Farnham each scored three in the win as 13 different Big Red players scored.
Denison outshot DePauw 51-6 and held a 42-5 advantage in shots on goal. DePauw's Kathryn Hopkins recorded a school-record 19 saves in the loss, while the Big Red's Hannah Magarian stopped one DePauw shot and Becca Jones had four saves in the second half.
Hopkins had a team-high four ground balls for DePauw, while Emily Marlatt paced Denison with five as the Big Red led in the category, 38-18.
Denison was successful on all 16 of its clear situations with DePauw converting 9 of 27 and the Tigers committed 33 turnovers to the Big Red's 15.
The Tigers wrap up the season on Saturday, April 28, at Kenyon in a Noon contest.
