DePauw Finishes Fifth at NCAA Championships; Luloff Ties for Fourth and Named Division III Golfer of the Year

Houtston, Texas - Paced by Larisa Luloff's final-round 74, DePauw shot a 312 and finished with a four-round 1,247 and in fifth place at the NCAA Division III Championships at Bay Oaks Country Club. New York University won with a 1,217 followed by Williams (1222), Methodist (1232) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (1233).

Luloff's four-round 301 marked the best individual score by a Tiger in the program's 15 NCAA appearances. In today's round, Luloff totaled three birdies and 10 pars and finished in a tie with Amy Xue of Claremont-Mudd-Sctipps. Luloff, who entered the tournament as the top-ranked Division III golfer, was selected as the Women's Golf Coaches Association Division III Golfer of the Year. Cordelia Chan of Williams won the individual title with a 296.

Tarinni Sameer Kakar finished in a tie for 18th at after today's 76 that included one birdie and 13 pars. Anna Foley tied for 37th at after shooting a 77 today with two birdies and 11 pars.

Rachele Miller tied for 53rd with a including a final-round 85 that included two birdies and 11 pars. Allison Miller rounded out the Tigers' lineup in 78th-place at following a 91 today that featured two birdies and six pars.

The Tigers' 1247 was the best score a DePauw team has shot at the Division III Championships.
