Sixth-Ranked Tigers are Runners-Up at Crooked Stick

Carmel, Ind. - Sixth-ranked DePauw shot a 330 and finished second at the Big Four Classic at the 5,877-yard, par 72, Crooked Stick Golf Club. Butler won with a 312, while Hanover was third at 352 and Franklin fourth at 362.

Kelsey Smith led DePauw with a 79 which was good for fourth place, while Alexandria Ramirez was fifth with an 81. 

Paige Gooch was seventh with an 84 with Sheinnera Gerongay tied for 12th at 86 and Brooke Hasler in 17th with a 93. Playing as an individual, Kenzlie Westerfield finished in a tie for eighth with an 85.

Butler's Isabella Lambert and Jenna Peters each shot 75 to share the top spot with Lambert winning on the fifth playoff hole.

DePauw returns to action April 12-13 when it competes in the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling in Normal, Ill.
