Senior Claire Ryan (Chicago, Ill.) posted a pair of career-high outings in two wins to be named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Ryan played and started in two games, averaging 19 points per game, eight rebounds per game and two assists per game. She shot 56 percent from the floor (14-of-25), 8-of-13 from the free throw line and collected two blocks.
In DePauw's 69-43 win over Wittenberg, Ryan scored a career-high 20 points. She followed that up Saturday in DePauw's 78-41 win over Wooster with 18 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for her first career double-double.
On the season, Ryan is shooting 49 percent from the floor and averaging 12.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 2.9 apg. She leads the team in points, assists, steals, blocks and is fourth in rebounds.
The Tigers are 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC. They head to Puerto Rico on Dec. 19 to face Vassar and Dec. 20 to go against Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
