Greencastle, Ind. - Led by both the player and pitcher of the year, DePauw placed six players on the all-North Coast Athletic Conference softball teams. The Tigers were the first team in conference history to win 16 conference games. DePauw also captured the NCAC tournament title with a 3-0 mark.
Catcher Sidney Holler (Sr., Overland Park, Kan./Shawnee Mission South) was named the league's Player of the Year and batted .433 in the Tigers' 16 conference games and drove in 12 runs. Her first team selection was the third of her career in addition to a second team honor last year.
Cami Henry (Fr., Camby, Ind./Mooresville) was named the NCAC Pitcher of the Year after posting an 8-0 record in the Tigers' conference play with a 0.31 earned run average. She struck out 43 in 44.0 conference innings and opponents batted just .133 against her.
Second team selections included infielder Abey Bass (Jr., Shelbyville, Ind./Shelbyville) and outfielder Jade Mejia Wick. Bass hit .423 in conference play with three RBI, while Mejia Wick batted .371 with nine RBI.
Earning honorable mention were infielders Grace Smith (Fr., Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) and Kaylyn Linder (Indianapolis, Ind./Scecina). Smith hit .379 in conference play with eight RBI and Linder batted .325 with six RBI.
