Henry Named NCAC Pitcher of the Week for Third Time This Season

Greencastle, Ind. - Following a week in which she didn't allow a run in 15 2/3 innings, Cami Henry (Fr., Camby, Ind./Mooresville) has earned North Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors for the second straight week and third time this season.

Henry tossed DePauw's first seven-inning, complete game no-hitter since 2004 when she blanked Denison, 3-0, in last Tuesday's first game of a doubleheader. She then came back and tossed another shutout in game two as the Tigers took a 4-0 victory. Henry finished her week with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief at Hiram to move her record for the week to 3-0.

For the season, she's posted a 10-5 record with two saves and a 2.86 earned average with 109 strikeouts in 93 innings. She's not allowed an earned run in her last 36.0 innings.

The Tigers have won nine straight, are 17-9 overall and in sole possession of first in the NCAC at 8-0. DePauw hosts Thomas More tomorrow in a 4 p.m. doubleheader.
