Greencastle, Ind. - Illinois Wesleyan pitcher Brea Walker took a perfect game into the seventh inning before Becca St. Germain singled on the first pitch of the bottom half of the frame. However, the Tigers couldn't capitalize and the 16th-ranked Titans came away with a 3-0 victory. DePauw dropped to 4-5 with the loss, while Illinois Wesleyan improved to 4-3.
The Titans grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first as Jillian Runyon led off with a single and stole second. She moved to third on a ground out and scored on Sam Berghoff's grounder.
Berghoff's fifth-inning double plated Runyon and Runyon scored the game's final run in the seventh as she was hit by a pitch, stole second and came home on Stephanie Prentice's single.
Runyon and Prentice each collected two hits for Illinois Wesleyan, while St. Germain was the only base runner for the Tigers with her single.
Walker moved to 2-1 with the one-hitter as she struck out four without allowing a walk. DePauw's Julia Bork dropped to 2-1.
