DePauw Finishes Seventh at NCAA Great Lakes Regional; Williams is 15th

Grand Rapids, Mich. - Led by Zane Williams' 15th-place showing, DePauw totaled 206 points and finished seventh at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. Host Calvin won with 43 points and Otterbein was second with 64. The distance of the course was shortened due to course conditions.

Williams finished 15th in 24:32.5, while Cole Martin was 19th in 24:35.7 and Kyle Munz was 48th in 25:13.8. Ford Baker finished in 49th (25:14.1), while Michael Ocasek was 76th (25:42.2) followed by Miles Main in 88th (25:53.2) and Aaron Worley in 96th (25:56.5).

"Great effort from the men," head coach Kori Stoffregen said.

"We reached our goals of winning conference again and having a chance at nationals. We are already hungry for next year."

The season may not be over for Williams and Martin who will learn tomorrow if they are individual qualifiers for the NCAA Division III Championships.
