DePauw Finishes Fifth in Little State Portion of Indiana Intercollegiates

West Lafayette, Ind. - Bolstered by Paul Watts' 14th-place showing, DePauw finished fifth among the 20 non-Division I schools in the Little State portion of the Indiana Intercollegiates.

DePauw totaled 183 points, while Wabash won with 26 and Indianapolis was second with 46. Indiana Tech placed third with 104 and Taylor fourth with 138.

Watts finished the 8,000 meters in 26:45.7, while Noah Gatwood was 20th in 27:02.6 and Polo Burguete 42nd in 27:47.5.

Chris Lowry crossed in 27:59.0 and finished 51st with Brad Wise rounding out the scorers in 56th in 28:06.7. 

Wabash's Jared Burris was the individual winner in 26:01.6.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 27, when they compete in the Pre-National Meet in Mason, Ohio.
