Tigers Set Three School Records at North Central

Naperville, Ill. - It was a record-setting night for the Tigers as they broke school records in three events.

Samuel Voelz posted a third-place finish in the 800 meters in 1:52.47 to improve upon his school record by .09 seconds.

Polo Burguete was fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:04.55 and broke the DePauw mark of 9:07.45 held by Simon Flory in 2002. His time also is the fourth-fastest in Division III this year.

The Tigers' 4 x 400 relay of Luke Patty, Jordan Booker, Dante Stewart and Voelz was sixth in 3:17.65 and eclipsed the DePauw mark of 3:17.94 set in 1967.

Zach Batt rounded out the Tigers' competition with a 39th place showing in the 1,500 meters in 4:02.24.
