Millsaps and Harding Capture Wins Over DePauw

Memphis, Tenn. – DePauw struggled in a pair of matches on Saturday with an 8-1 loss to No. 37 Millsaps and a 5-0 loss to Harding.

Alex Bertolini captured the lone win for the Tigers against Millsaps in the No. 5 flight 6-4, 6-2. Everyone else lost in straight sets.

Greg Frauenheim at No. 1 and Michael Kolbus at No. 6 were each on the wrong end of a tiebreaker for one of their sets. The No. 3 doubles team of Sean Carroll and Alex Pintilie lost a close one 8-6.

Against Harding, the No. 1 doubles team of Frauenheim and Bryce McClanahan fell in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-5). The No. 2 and No. 3 flights each lost 6-4.

In singles play, McClanahan lost at the No. 2 flight 6-2, 6-2, and Matthew Quammen fell at No. 5 6-0, 6-0. The remainder of matches were left unfinished.

Both games were played at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. The Tigers are now 1-8 on the year.
