Tigers Place Third at Indiana Intercollegiates

West Lafayette, Ind. - DePauw totaled 196 points and finished third at the Indiana Intercollegiates. Purdue won with 1,038 points, while Ball State was second with 204.5. 

Kurt Swieter posted a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:45.03, while Charlie Stewart-Bates was eighth in 1:46.26. Swieter was also sixth in the 100 free in 48.54 seconds with Sam McManus finishing eighth in the event in 48.57.

Brandon Sholtis also was sixth in the 50 free in 22.19 seconds, while Stewart-Bates was seventh in the 500 free (4:48.84) and Marcus Carter-Buckman ninth (4:54.17). Mitchell Davis turned in an eighth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (59.87).

Eric Addy was fifth in one-meter diving with 233.75 points and ninth on the three-meter board with 189.35 points.

DePauw's 200 medley relay of Eli Anderson, Davis, Sholtis and Aidan Schurig was ninth in 1:38.94.
