Sept. 10, 2019 (Franklin, Ind.)- The DePauw University men's soccer team dominated the Franklin College Grizzlies 6-0, in its third shutout win in a row.
The Tigers once again put on a shooting clinic, recording three goals off of nine shots in the first half, followed by three more goals in the second half.
DePauw's scoring efforts were led by Sam Kramer and Quinn Flaspohler, scoring two goals apiece. Scoring, however, was not the only way Flaspohler elevated the Tigers, for he also tallied three of the six assists against the Grizzlies.
DePauw's determination to stay on the attack throughout the match led to 15 shots on goal while keeping Franklin to just one shot on goal.
Though the Tigers dominance offensively was a sight to see, the defense's ability to stop the ball in midfield hindered any chance for the Grizzlies to advance the ball.
The Tigers improve to 3-1 and travel on Sept. 14 to play against the Manchester University Spartans (2-2-1) at noon.
