Greencastle, Ind. - The 16th-ranked Kenyon Lords scored in the 17th minute and that would be all they needed in a 3-0 North Coast Athletic Conference win over DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 10-3-3 overall and 3-2-2 in the NCAC, while Kenyon improved to 12-1-2 overall and 6-0-1 in NCAC play.
Luke Muther's goal at 16:15 with an assist from Philippe Stengel gave Kenyon a 1-0 lead before David Anderson's goal off of David Kim's corner at 66:36 expanded the lead to 2-0. Sam Carson wrapped up the scoring with an assist from Sebastian Gaese at 86:31.
Kenyon outshot DePauw, 20-7 and held an 11-2 edge in shots on goal. Each team had four corner kicks, while Kenyon had 17 fouls to DePauw's eight.
Austin Bodner recorded seven saves in goal for the Tigers, while Kenyon's Ian McInturf stopped two DePauw shots.
DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, October 23, with a 4 p.m. NCAC contest at Wabash.
