Greencastle, Ind. - Sam Kramer's goal on an assist from Justin Mitchell with 7:40 left in the second overtime gave DePauw a 3-2 North Coast Athletic Conference victory over Wittenberg. DePauw moved to 10-2-3 overall and 3-1-2 in the NCAC and into a tie for third in the standings. Wittenberg dropped to 6-9 overall and 1-5 in the conference.
The teams played 69 minutes of scoreless soccer before Wittenberg's Jacob Snowden scored at 69:45. The Tigers evened the score on Eddie Velez's first goal of the season at 72:04.
The teams played a scoreless first overtime before Kramer delivered DePauw's fourth overtime win of the season.
DePauw outshot Wittenberg, 19-5, including 8-2 on goal. The host Tigers also held a 15-7 edge in corners.
Austin Bodner recorded the win in goal for DePauw, while Wittenberg's Jack Snider totaled five saves.
DePauw hosts 16th-ranked Kenyon on Saturday at Noon.
