Klein's score came after a Centre yellow card just 1:20 into the second half.
DePauw outshot Centre, 10-9, and each team fired three shots on goal. The Colonels held a 4-1 edge in corners, while Centre had 13 fouls to the Tigers' six.
Austin Bodner totaled three saves in goal for DePauw with Centre's Bailey Spade totaling two.
