DePauw Drops First Game of Season

Greencastle, Ind. - Visiting Franklin made a first-half goal hold up and sent DePauw to a 1-0 defeat. DePauw dropped to 3-1, while the Grizzlies improved to 1-4.

Jordan Thomas scored on Mason May's assist at 29:28 for the game's only score.

DePauw outshot Franklin 12-5 including 6-4 on goal. The Tigers also held a 10-3 edge in corners.

Austin Bodner totaled three saves, while Jake Hendricks recorded the shutout with six stops for Franklin.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, September 16, when it hosts Centre in a 2 p.m. contest.
