DePauw Finishes Second at Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic

Clayton, Ind. - DePauw's "A" team shot a 593 and finished 11 strokes behind Webster and in second place at the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic.

Jason Miller led with a 145 to finish fifth including a 70 today which equaled the low round of the day. Nick Burris followed with a 147 (74-73) for eighth place, while Luis Esteban posted a 151 (73-78). Jacob Kelber shot a 153 (74-79) and Lake Genenbacher followed with a 155 (79-76).

The Tigers' "B" team totaled 599 to finish third and were paced by Wyatt Harris who tied for second with a 143 (70-73). Jake McCloskey (76-77) and Kinder Jones (78-75) each shot 153 followed by Danny Paris at 154 (77-77) and Mason Meadows with a 158 (74-84). Playing as individuals, Davis Oyler shot a 153 (75-78) and Sam Bricker finished with a 154 (79-75).

Franklin's Jayson Williams was the medalist with a 141 (71-70).

DePauw wraps up the fall season at the Wabash Classic on October 6-7.
