Brad Nadborne returned to his alma mater in October 2017 after previously serving as a DePauw assistant during the 2015-16 season. He was the Manchester College (North Manchester, Ind.) head men's basketball coach for 11 seasons prior to that.
Nadborne was 117-166 in 11 years at Manchester College and 123-186 overall. He had arguably his best season in 2010-11 by leading the Spartans to a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament title and reaching the NCAA Division III tournament. He earned accolades from the National Association of Basketball Coaches as their Midwest Region Coach of the Year and from the HCAC as its Coach of the Year following the 2010-11 season.
Nadborne has also had coaching stints at DePauw, the University of Wisconsin–LaCrosse, Cornell University and the University of Colorado.
Nadborne graduated from DePauw in 1981 and played three seasons for the Tigers after transferring from West Point his freshman year where he played under current Duke University coach Mike Krzyzewski.
