Senior Luke Lattner was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week after guiding the Tigers to two victories, bringing DePauw's win streak to a season-high five games.
Lattner averaged 28 points between the two games, scoring 36 in their 100-91 win over Allegheny and 20 in their 73-64 win against Kenyon. Lattner also averaged six rebounds and 4.5 assists between the two games. He shot 50 percent from the floor (16-of-32) and 87 percent from the free throw line (20-of-23).
On the year, Lattner is averaging 20.9 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 2.7 apg and is shooting 43 percent from the floor. Lattner has 1,223 career points, and he needs just nine to pass Jeff Hallgren (1974-78) for 15th place in school history.
DePauw is now 8-5 overall and is tied for second place in the NCAC at 4-2. They will look to continue their winning streak Wednesday at nationally ranked Denison (12-1, 6-0).
