Tigers Post 4-0 Shutout Win at Oberlin

Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw moved to 9-8 overall and 6-6 in North Coast Athletic Conference play following a 4-0 win at Oberlin. The Yeowomen dropped to 1-15 overall and 0-12 in conference play.

After a scoreless first half, the Tigers broke through starting with Cathy Zesiger's goal just 3:08 into the second half. Corina Bourantas made it 2-0 on Alexa Steil's assist at 41:35 before Christina Bourantas added a score at 59:17 on Kate Milner's pass.

Zesiger knocked in her second score of the day at 67:19 to wrap up the scoring.

DePauw outshot the Yeowomen, 30-1, and held a 19-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Tigers also dominated the penalty corners, 10-0.

Allie Duranceau recorded her third shutout of the season, while Kennedy Kline had 13 saves for Oberlin.

The Tigers wrap up the home season on Thursday, October 25, when they host Earlham at 7 p.m.
