Greencastle, Ind. -- Eight different Tigers scored and two goalies combined for a shutout in a 9-0 victory over Oberlin on Saturday.
DePauw wasted little time opening up scoring when Corina Bourantas found Sophie van Genderen in front of the cage at the 1:59 mark for her first goal of the season. Tori Wittemann added on at 5:04 with her third goal of the year.
Reilly Bruce came off the bench and scored at 13:52 thanks to an assist from Rose Revolinski. Gabby Carretero scored later at 22:52 after freeing up for a one-on-one with the goalie. It was her first goal of the year.
Bourantas then got into the scoring column to begin the second half, scoring her fourth goal of the season off an assist from van Genderen. Nine minutes later at 49:54 Alexa Steil tallied her first goal thanks to an assist from Revolinski.
Kate Milner then got into the action with goals at 60:40 and 64:08. Bruce and Waldman recorded assists respectively. Milner now sits at seven goals on the season.
DePauw outshot Oberlin 34-4 in a game where DePauw controlled possession throughout. Hannah Metzger played the first half in the cage to record the win, and Sarah Foye played in the second half. Neither needed to make a save to record the combined shutout.
The Tigers improve to 9-6 overall and 7-4 in the NCAC. Oberlin drops to 1-16 and 0-11 in conference play.
DePauw will stay at home and face Wooster tomorrow at noon.
