Tigers Survive in Overtime

Oberlin, Ohio -- Paige Berliner sent the Tigers home with a win after scoring in overtime to solidify a 2-1 NCAC victory over Oberlin on Saturday.

Oberlin, who now sits at 1-8 overall and 0-4 in the conference, gave DePauw everything they had. They scored first at 21:19, led at halftime and for almost 37 minutes of the game.

DePauw broke the zero off their side of the scoreboard at 36:59 when Reilly Bruce scored off a pass from Rose Revolinski as the two teams took a 1-1 tie into overtime.

At 72:27, Berliner ended the game off a pass across the crease to the backside from Bruce.

DePauw took 30 shots to Oberlin's eight. Freshman Hannah Metzger recorded the win in goal.

The Tigers are now 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the NCAC. They travel to Wooster tomorrow.
