Winter Haven, Fla. - DePauw moved to 12-6 on the season and extended its win streak to five following a 5-1 win over Thomas (Maine) in the Tigers' final game in Florida. The Terriers dropped to 1-12.
The Tigers scored four times in the sixth as Brayden White and Charlie Patrick reached by being hit by a pitch before an error on TJ Carney-DeBord's fly ball with two outs allowed White to score. Spencer Youngcourt followed with a two-run single before Nick Nelson singled home Youngcourt.
CJ Yoannou's single in the seventh scored Patrick and gave the Tigers a 5-0 lead.
Thomas' lone run came in the eighth when Alexander Miller doubled home Bradly Smith.
Five different Tigers collected one hit each, while Connor Rittenhouse had three of the Terriers' five hits.
Sam Kaske started and pitched five inning of two-hit, scoreless ball to improve to 1-0. Dean Jackman took the loss and dropped to 0-2.
