Freshman Charlie Patrick was recently named the NCAC Newcomer of the Year and joined junior Grant Rademacher on the All-NCAC Second Team. Junior Noah Salasky and senior Collin Einertson earned honorable mention selections.
Patrick (Crown Point, Ind.) led the team with a .360 average while producing a .441 on base percentage and .518 slugging percentage. He was one of two players to play in all 37 games for the Tigers.
Patrick had one home run on the year, led the Tigers with 13 doubles and was second with 25 RBI and three triples.
Rademacher (Munster, Ind.) joined him on the second team after a strong second half of the season that saw him capture two NCAC Pitcher of the Week honors.
The junior made 11 appearances and 10 starts and finished with a 4-3 record with a 3.29 ERA. He led the team in wins, 54.2 innings pitched and 61 strikeouts.
Being named honorable mentions, Salasky (Grand Rapids, Mich.) was the other Tiger to appear in all 37 games, but he was the only one to start in all 37 games.
Salasky slashed .304/.395/.370 and finished with 1 home run, 16 RBI, four doubles, one triple and 27 runs scored. Salasky also swiped 13 bases.
Einertson (Ballwin, Mo.) was the power source for DePauw, leading the team with six home runs, 28 RBI and a .546 slugging percentage. He batted a .306 average with four doubles and two triples.
Einertson was a second team selection last year and an honorable mention in 2016.
DePauw finished 11-26 this season with a 9-9 mark in the NCAC, tied for fifth.
