Richmond, Ind. -- Earlham scored three in the bottom of the ninth, and a walk-off single from Dre Davis sent the Quakers to a 7-6 win over DePauw on Sunday.
Earlham started the ninth with two walks before a throwing error at short made it a 6-5 game. An intentional walk loaded the bases with one out, and back-to-back singles concluded the game.
Up to that point DePauw had only trailed for a half inning after a four run third made it a 4-2 game in favor of Earlham. DePauw answered with four runs of their own in the top of the fourth, and the scoring subsided until the ninth.
Charlie Patrick was a home run shy of the cycle as he finished 3-for-5 with one RBI. Ternton Schneider went 2-for-4 with two RBI as the Tigers collected 14 hits in the game.
Spencer Youngcourt was saddled with the loss. Domanick Michael picked up his first win for Earlham (19-6).
DePauw drops to 3-14 overall. They head to Denison on Wednesday.
