Sam A. Juarascio (Class of 1976) earned a B.A. in Physical Education. He currently is employed as an independent painter with his own painting company.
A four year football letterman, Juarascio previously held the NCAA Division III record for most rushing yards by a quarterback with 2,171. He graduated as DePauw’s second all-time leading rusher and is still ranked fifth at the time of his induction. He also threw for 1,598 yards, scored 122 career points and totaled 3,769 yards of offense. A starter in 34 straight games, beginning with the second game of his freshman year., Juarascio was named the Monon Bell Game’s most valuable player in 1973.
Juarascio resides in Forest Hill Maryland.
