C. Tucker Award as outstanding senior athlete.  He received his D.D.S. degree with honors from Indiana University in 1981.  Wells returned to Martinsville and has been in private dental practice ever since.  He is a lifelong member of Liberty Christian Church, a local FCA sponsor, and member of the Martinsville School Board and the Martinsville High School 12th Man Club.  He is married to the former Sarah Jane Kile ’78, and they have three children who all enjoy athletics.
