Dr. Adrienne Rasbach '94 swam her way to success at DePauw and still holds many records. She holds the all-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Open Records in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.21) and the 200 breaststroke (2:26.34). She holds school records in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, tied for first with the most total points scored at Nationals with 68 points, scored more points individually at one national meet than any other swimmer (31 points), and is fourth on the all-time team total for individual points scored (1,364). She was the team's high point scorer for all three seasons that she participated and held pool records in the 100 and 200 breaststroke for nine years. Her national statistics are equally impressive. She was named an all-American and an academic all-American in 1991, 1992 and 1993. In the 100 breaststroke, she placed third in 1991, second in 1992 and third in 1993. She also competed and placed in a number of other events at the Nationals, including the 200 breast, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay. After graduating magna cum laude from DePauw with a B.A. in biological science, she completed her M.D. from Northwestern University in 1998. She works as a physician with OB/GYN Specialists of Indiana in Noblesville, Ind. As a student at DePauw, she was a Rector Scholar, member of Phi Beta Kappa, Gold Key and Mortar Board, and she participated as a rider in Little 5. She and her husband reside in Noblesville, Ind., with her stepson, Andrew, and daughter, Caitlyn. Her interests include golf, cheering for the Colts and Pacers, and scrapbooking.
