Welcome to Tiger Men's Basketball

Welcome to DePauw Tiger Men's Basketball:

The challenges here at DePauw are unique and we are looking for some special people to meet them.  We take pride in the fact that our players attack their opportunities for success in basketball and academics with equal enthusiasm.  We believe we have one of the very best combinations of nationally competitive basketball and nationally recognized academics in the country.

DePauw has long enjoyed a national reputation for academic excellence.  According to Standard & Poor's, DePauw ranks 8th in the nation and 1st in the Midwest among liberal arts colleges as the undergraduate origin of the nation's top business executives. In my time at DePauw our team members have gone on to the Stanford Business School, Harvard Law and Business Schools as well as numerous medicals schools and post-graduate academic pursuits.  Our former players are enjoying success in in a wide variety of fields including collegiate and professional basketball. Brad Stevens’ ’99 move to the Celtics being the most recent and visible among them.

To go along with an unrivaled academic experience, DePauw also offers a unique basketball opportunity.  One of the most successful programs in the history of NCAA Division III,  the Tigers have had winning seasons in 29 of the last 32 years.  We compete in NCAA Division III and are a part of the North Coast Athletic Conference, which includes schools in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.  At home, we compete in the Neal Fieldhouse, where we own a 321-69 record since it opened in 1982.

I urge you to explore the academic and athletic combination DePauw has to offer.  You can take a first step by filling out the online questionnaire here on the web site.   Please don’t hesitate to contact me, or a member of my staff should you have any questions.

Go Tigers!
