DePauw Finishes Seventh at NCAC Championships

Greeencastle, Ind. - A pair of Tigers posted all-conference performances in leading DePauw to 42 points and a seventh-place finish at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Blackstock Stadium. Oberlin won with 260 points and Ohio Wesleyan was second with 185.5.

Kaitlyn Daanen earned all-NCAC accolades in the 100 meters by finishing third in 12.62 seconds. She also was seventh in the 200 meters (26.46).

Also garnering all-conference honors was Claudia Monnett with a third in the 5,000 meters (17:59.30).

The Tigers picked up seven points in the high jump with Emily Wilson finishing fifth (1.50m/4-11) and Elena Ponder sixth (1.50m/4-11). Natalie Gruszka was seventh in the 800 meters (2:24.97) and Mackenzie Jones eighth in the 400 hurdles (1:18.01).

DePauw's 4x100 relay of Amanda Weber, Daanen, Wilson and Ponder was seventh in 53.25 and the 4x400 relay of Weber, Gruszka, Odessa Fernandes and Daanen placed sixth in 4:13.99.
