Celia Kauth's High Jump Win Highlights Tigers' NCAC Competition

Oberlin, Ohio - Led by Celia Kauth's win in the high jump, DePauw wrapped up the final day of competition at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships by finishing seventh with 58 points. Ohio Wesleyan won with 229 and Oberlin was second with 124.

Kauth cleared 5-2.25 (1.58m) to win her first outdoor title after finishing second last year.

Maggie Royalty earned all-conference honors with a third-place finish in the 100 meters in 12.82.

Heather O'Brien scored in two events today after finishing fifth in the 1,500 meters (4:50.69) and eighth in the 5,000 meters (18:09.26) as did Katie Doron with seventh-place showings in the 1,500 meters (4:53.15) and the 800 meters (2:23.02). Trina Manalo was eighth in the hammer throw at 132-3 (40.32m).

DePauw's 4 x 100 relay was fifth in 49.34 seconds and the 4 x 400 relay concluded the meet with a sixth-place finish in 4:04.90.

The Tigers return to the track on May 8-9 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College.
