Tigers Finish Fifth at Rose-Hulman

Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw totaled 69 points and placed fifth among 12 schools at the Rose-Hulman Twilight. Illinois Wesleyan won with 204.33.

Heather O'Brien posted a second-place finish in the 1500 meters in 4:52.28 and was one of three DePauw runners to score in the event as Emma MacAnally was sixth in 5:02.09 and Kendall Weinert eighth in 5:02.65. 

Celia Kauth tied for second in the high jump at 5-1.25 (1.56m), while Siri Retrum finished third in the 3,000 meters in 10:40.18. Ashley Guevara was fifth in the 3,000 in 10:47.32 and Claudia Monnett seventh in 10:58.73.

Trina Manalo placed fourth in the hammer throw at 131-3 (40.00m) and was sixth in the discus with a best mark of 1101 (33.56m). Finishing fifth were Maggie Royalty in the javelin (103-1/31.43m) and Jillian Balser in the pole vault (10-0/3.05m).

Katie Manalo was sixth in the shot put (32-0.25/9.76m) as was Tiernan Shank in the 400 meters (1:01.63) and Megan Everhart in the 5,000 meters (19:25.33).  Rounding out DePauw's individual scorers were Ellie Sheffield in seventh in the 100 hurdles (16.82) and Katie Doron in the 800 meters (2:24.49).

The Tigers' 4 x 400 relay was third in 4:08.02, while the 4 x 100 finished fifth in 50.69 seconds.
