Greencastle, Ind. - Twelve different players scored as DePauw defeated Concordia-Chicago, 20-2, at Reavis Stadium. The Tigers improved to 4-8, while the Cougars dropped to 0-14.
DePauw scored the game's first six goals before Concordia closed the gap to 6-2. The Tigers, however, closed the half on a 6-0 run to grab a 12-2 halftime lead. The Tigers outscored the Cougars, 8-0, in the second half.
Maddie Allen saved four shots for the Tigers for her second win in goal this season. Melissa Franco recorded five saves for the Cougars.
DePauw held a 32-7 edge in shots and a 22-10 advantage in ground balls. Concordia held a 13-11 lead in draw controls as Fuller had eight. The Tigers were successful on all 16 clear attempts with Concordia succeeding on 5-of-11. DePauw totaled just 10 turnovers to the Cougars' 19.
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, April 19, with a 7 p.m. game at Ohio Wesleyan.
